This year we will be volunteering again with the Colonial Home Tour, to benefit the Hogar Tata Vasco (foster home/orphanage) and ninos de patzcuaro lunch program for children in need. If you are in the area, this is something not to be missed.
Here are a couple of pictures to wet your appetite. Please click on the pictures for a larger view, the small size does not do them justice!
Remember it's more than just the homes. It's also the courtyards, the gardens, the folkart collections that go back generations!

You are tempting me to make a visit -- soon.
Come on down!!

Todd, I finally have a minute to check in and your photos are GORGEOUS (and you humbly say nothing as we chat). So good to see you and lovin' "tu blog-o".
Thanks Deb, that is very kind.
But after comparing them to yours and to Billies, I think I still have a ways to go! And it is always a pleasure running in to you! Lets do what we can to see that it happens more often!

Hey, Todd, we were staying at El Refugio and were in our casita as some of the home tours came through. Darn, wish we would have met. And your photos are very nice.
Billie, I am so sad I missed you.
Hopefully we will get another chance!
I was doing a tour in one of the other homes, but you might have seen Shannon coming by with a group while you were there.
Thanks for the compliment on the pictures, coming from you that means a lot!!!

I just love your photographs, Todd. Beautiful.
Thanks Heather!
Really nice pictures you made Todd.
Always wanted to visit Mexico now even more.
Perhaps some day we will come your way.
Greetings from The Netherlands
